A possible World War Two military structure is visible on aerial photographs dating to 1945 (S1). This structure was located at TF 7474 3732. It was circular or polygonal in plan, measured approximately 4m across and was a similar height to a nearby pillbox. It is possible that this was also a pillbox, although its type is uncertain. It was positioned in a roadside hedgerow, overlooking a railway bridge 65m to its north. A further pillbox was located at a crossroads 220m to its south (NHER 43319). This structure had been completely removed by April 1946 (S2).
