Map

March 2006. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TF 7310 3731. Two linear ditches are present forming a T-shaped arrangement. They are aligned roughly northwest to southeast and southwest to northeast. This alignment does not correspond with the surviving post medieval field pattern or with field boundaries marked on a 1631 estate map of Sedgeford (S2). Neither is the alignment the same as that of cropmarks of a Roman settlement 300m to the southeast (NHER 13070). Although it is likely that these cropmarks are of field boundaries, their date is unknown.
