Full Description
March 2006. Norfolk NMP.
A cropmark of a ring ditch, probably a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3). This ring ditch is located at TF 7338 3784 and was previously recorded as part of NHER 12829. A sub-circular ring ditch is present with a 2.5m wide ditch and an external diameter of 34m. It is likely that this ring ditch is of Bronze Age date and that it relates to a round barrow. It is located 160m to the north of the central group (NHER 12829) of a dispersed barrow cemetery (NHER 45008) with other ring ditches present to its north (NHER 43347, 12830 and 12831).
J. Albone (NMP), 06 March 2006.
