Summary

Earthworks of linear banks of medieval to post medieval date are visible within parkland surrounding Sedgeford Hall on aerial photographs. One bank corresponds to a boundary marked on the Sedgeford tithe map and possibly also a 1631 estate map of Sedgeford. The second bank also appears to relate to a field boundary marked on the 1630 map. It is likely that both of these banks are field boundaries and that they are of medieval to post medieval date.
