Summary

Cropmarks of an undated linear ditch are visible on aerial photographs. The alignment of this ditch does not correspond to the modern field boundaries or the field pattern shown on a 1631 estate map of Sedgeford. It is possible that it is a field boundary, but its date is unknown.

Cropmarks of an undated linear ditch are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). This cropmark is centred on TF 7030 3759. Two sections of linear ditch are present on a north northwest to south southeast alignment for a total of 450m between TF 7022 3779 and TF 7038 3737. The alignment of this ditch does not correspond to the modern field boundaries or the field pattern shown on a 1631 estate map of Sedgeford (S3). It is possible that it is a field boundary, but its date is unknown.
