Full Description
March 2006. Norfolk NMP.
Undated cropmarks of a linear ditch and bank are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TF 7204 3623. A single linear ditch cropmark is present on a roughly northwest to southeast alignment between TF 7193 3643 and TF 7200 3628. A possible bank cropmark is present on a different alignment further to the southeast between TF 7211 3614 and TF 7218 3608. The position of this ditch and bank does not correspond to any boundaries marked on a 1631 estate map of Sedgeford or any later maps (S2). It is likely that both of these cropmarks relate to field boundaries but their date is unknown.
J. Albone (NMP), 24 March 2006.
