Summary

A submerged structure of unknown date, which is partially visible on aerial photographs taken in 1944 and 1965, may be part of a wreck. Several other wrecks have been identified nearby, such as NHER 27637 approximately 45m to the east. Alternatively, it could be part of a channel marker or similar maritime feature.

Part of a submerged structure is visible on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), centred at TG 5083 0755. It may be part of a wreck, one of several apparently abandoned in this area of Breydon Water (see NHER 27637 located 45m to the east, for example). Alternatively, it could be part of a channel beacon or similar maritime feature; beacons are marked along each side of the Yare channel on the Ordnance Survey 2nd edition 25 inch map (S3).
