Summary

A 17th century house, now a pair of cottages. It is built of flint with brick dressings and has two storeys and a 20th century pantile roof.

April 1972. Listed, Grade II.
House, now pair of cottages. 17th century. Flint, brick dressings, 20th century red pantiled roof. Two storeys. Five ground and three first floor openings.
No. 53 to west has two three-light ground floor casement windows, central 20th century door and brick dressings. Two first floor three-light casements.
No. 55 to east has ground floor casement window, about 1900 door and first floor single casement. Brick quoins, dogtooth eaves cornice and brick coped east gable. West gable knapped and galleted flint with carstone chequerwork. First floor brick string course and two blocked brick dressed window openings of 17th century. Brick coped parapet with tumbling in. One axial and one west end stack.
