Summary

A mid 19th century school and school house. They are both built of carstone and are linked together, forming an L-shape in plan. The house is two storeys tall, with the school one storey high. Both school rooms closed in July 1989 with the Boys room and teacher's house being converted into a domestic dwelling.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"School and former school house. About 1850. Carstone, tiled and slated roofs. Two storey house to south, single storey hall school to north forming L-plan. Gothic Revival. Façade to north: gable end of house with one ground and one first floor three-light wooden framed fixed casement."
