Map

April 2006. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches, possibly field boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). These cropmarks are located at TM 3033 8764. Four sections of linear ditch cropmark are present. Two of these appear to represent part of the same feature and form an L-shaped corner lying on a northwest to southeast and southwest to northeast axis. A third ditch also has a broadly southwest to northeast alignment. The remaining ditch cropmark lies on a slightly different alignment and may be unrelated to the others. It is possible that these ditches relate to field boundaries. Although their alignment is similar to that of the modern field pattern, these cropmarks do not correspond to any boundaries marked on the 1812 Earsham enclosure map (S3) or any later maps.
