Full Description
January 2006. Found on exposure of grey clay 3m southeast of the second groin southeast of concrete beach access and 40m from sea wall. Grid reference provided by informant. 1.5m below high tide level. Very little organic matter in clay at this point.
Fragments of burnt clay, mostly resembling coarse pottery, but one is 'brick-like'. Finds to be brought to NLA for identification.
