Map

Site of cottage, now demolished. Seen in passing many times but information comes from (S1).
Small brick building; large internal stack at east end. Dentilled cornice. Two windows and dormer to north. Low addition with large central chimneystack on east. South wall had two windows on two storeys, with central door, suggesting north dormer was to provide headroom. Remarkably this building does not appear on (S2) and so must be later in date.
E. Rose (NLA), 28 February 2006.
