Summary

This farm dates to the post medieval period. The brick barn and attached stable were built around 1720. A cart shed, carriage house and an a number of other buildings date from the 19th century. The farmhouse dates from before 1835.

Brick barn of circa 1720, once thatched, with later openings and of unusual length. Attached contemporary stable of same build. Three open sided structures of which one is of similar construction to the barn, the others later – one has a graffito 1835 or 1885. Farmhouse dates from before 1835 at which time it became part of the Gunton estate.
