Map

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Parchmark and soilmark of a possible ploughed out round barrow, which is visible on Ordnance Survey aerial photographs from 1969 (S1) and BKS vertical aerial photographs from 1988 (S2). The diameter of the ploughed out remains of the mound is 16.5m and is located at TG 0646 4237. The circular cropmark looks similar to that of a known Bronze Age mound also under the plough in the same field (SMR 6178), so it seems likely that this site is also a Bronze Age barrow.
S. Massey (NMP), 23 December 2002.
