Map

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
A slightly raised mound of irregular shape, centred on TG 0603 4451 and visible on RAF aerial photographs from 1946 (S1). The mound measures approximately 60m by 46m. It is possible that this feature is a saltern, of possible medieval date. However, it may be a naturally slightly raised area created by the action of the salt marsh creeks that surround it.
S. Massey (NMP), 7 January 2003.
