Summary

Metal-detecting between 2006 and 2016 recovered medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval coins and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Saxon stirrup and strap end; a medieval lead wall/ceiling decoration, armorial harness or furniture mount, a ?chandelier fragment, strap end, lead spindle whorl and lead weights; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments and lead cloth seals and a post-medieval sword belt fitting, buckle and crotal bell.
