Summary

Metal-detecting between 2006 and 2013 recovered Roman, Late Saxon and medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a medieval jetton and Bronze Age, Roman and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Bronze Age copper alloy casting jet; a Roman steelyard weight; a Late Saxon harness fitting; a medieval buckle, weight, purse bar fragment and harness mount and pendant; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments and a post-medieval weight, coin weight, powder measure and combination pipe tamper and signet ring.
