Map

November 2003. Norfolk NMP.
Curvilinear hollow way visible as earthwork on Muckleburgh Hill on RAF aerial photographs from 1946 (S1) and Hunting Survey photographs from 1969 (S2). The hollow runs from TG 0979 4291 to TG 0995 4284, measuring 180m long and between 4-11.5m wide. The feature is quite sunken and appears to be cut into the contour. It seems likely that this is an earlier route of the road to the south (A149). It seems likely that this feature is medieval to post medieval in date.
S. Massey (NMP), 19 November 2003.
