Summary

This former school is now used as a village hall. It was built in 1816. The structure is pebble flint with brick dressings and has a hipped roof. There is an inscription of '1816 National School' within the pediment.

Former school, now village hall, dated 1816. Pebble flint with brick dressings; hipped roof corrugated tiles to front, black glazed pantiles to sides, pantiles to rear. Three bays with outshuts to rear. South front with chamfered brick cap to flint plinth, dentil cornice, axial stack to right; three windows with rusticated brick jambs, central window of six lights under brick pediment, inscription '1816 National School' within pediment.
