Map

April 2006. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated and post medieval linear ditches and field boundaries are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). These cropmarks are centred on TM 3229 8943. Two of the ditches correspond directly to boundaries marked on the 1812 Earsham enclosure map (S3). These are aligned roughly north northwest to south southeast and west to east and are located at TM 3234 8947 and TM 3127 8939. The remaining ditches do not directly match boundaries shown on the 1812 map. However, their generally northwest to southeast and southwest to northeast alignments are similar to other boundaries marked in the vicinity on that map. It is possible that they are also field boundaries of a slightly earlier post medieval date.
