Summary

A pair of 18th century cottages, now used as one house.They are built of clay lump (which sits on a brick plinth) and have one storey, attics and a thatched roof. New casements were inserted during the 19th cnetury and there is a single storeyed outshut to rear.

Listing Description:
Pair of cottages, now one. Early 18th century. Clay lump on brick plinth and thatched roof. One storey and attic. Two gabled porches thatched, with round arched openings of brick. Four ground floor brick casements with ovolu hoods inserted probably in 1870s. Four gabled thatched dormers with casements and bargeboards. Gabled roof, south cottage lower. Rebuilt stack to north. Double shafted square stack over division of cottages. North gable weatherboarded. Single storeyed outshut to rear, pantiled with casement window.
