Map

September 2005. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a ring ditch, possibly a post medieval stack stand or similar agricultural drainage feature, are visible on aerial photographs to the north of Calthorpe Farm, Ingham. This feature is located within an area of probable post medieval field boundaries and drainage ditches (NHER 43641). The ring ditch is centred on TG 4018 2568. The ring is incomplete, with only the western side showing and is 18.5m in diameter. This would be very large for a stack stand, but given the location on the former fen, it seems the most likely interpretation. Alternatively it could be a curvilinear drainage feature.
