A. Cattermole (NLA), 11 May 2006. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 13 December 2021.
April 2002. Field Observation.
House inspected by E Rose (NLA) in April 2002. Owners at that time had documents dating back to 1846 which stated that the house was the New Inn but only functioned as such for one year; the contemporary outbuildings at the back were the brewery, first mentioned in 1853. The cellar has rounded niches in the style of the 17th century but clearly of 19th century date.
