Listing Description excerpt:
"House, early 19th century. Painted brick. Slate roof with gabled ends. Two storeys. Three windows. Centre first floor blind. Sashes with glazing bars, ground floor flat rubbed brick arches. Central round headed doorway with semi-circular fanlight with intersecting glazing bars and panelled door."

April 2002. Field Observation.
House inspected by E Rose (NLA) in April 2002. Owners at that time had documents dating back to 1846 which stated that the house was the New Inn but only functioned as such for one year; the contemporary outbuildings at the back were the brewery, first mentioned in 1853. The cellar has rounded niches in the style of the 17th century but clearly of 19th century date.
