Summary

An 18th-century and earlier timber-framed shop with offices and accommodation. The building was refronted in red brick and reroofed in the mid to late 19th century, but parts of the timber frame are still visible on the exterior. The building has sash windows, a pilastered door and a large 19th-century shop front.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Shops and offices with accommodation over, 18th century and earlier timber-framed range, fronted and roofed in mid to later 19th century. Red brick. Black glazed pantile roof with coped gable ends overhanging eaves with modillions.
No. 24 two storeys, four windows...centre right pilastered doorway with entablature and cornice, panelled reveals and glazed door.
No. 22 three storeys (although same height as No. 24), four windows, centre recessed...ground floor large 19th-century shop with fascia cornice and carved consoles. Rear 18th century faced in painted brick with two gables and sash windows...Plastered timber framing apparent at rear in north-west corner."
