Map

Former row of three cottages aligned east-west, originally one building.
(S1) in file, made at time of application for demolition in 1980, suggests 17th century date, building given upper storey in 18th century and attics in 19th.
However the plans provided might suggest that the end cell with gable stack was an 18th century addition to the 17th century building – th text refers to a later refacing here but this could be an additional cell.
It is not at all clear whether the building was demolished in 1980 and replaced, or whether the original building has since been greatly enlarged.
E. Rose (NLA), 24 April 2006.
