Summary

A line of three World War Two bomb craters are visible on aerial photographs along the railway line at Haddiscoe station. It seems likely that the railway line itself was the target as the line of craters follow the alignment of the railway line 80m to the west.

A line of three World War Two bomb craters are visible on aerial photographs along the railway line at Haddiscoe station (S1). It seems likely that the railway line itself was the target as the line of craters follows the alignment of the railway line 80m to the west. The craters are all approximately 5m across and are located at TM 4593 9817, TM 4590 9803 and TM 4584 9787. The group is centred on TM 4590 9803.
