Summary

This 18th century farmhouse has an early 19th century facade. The house originally had four bays but was extended west by one bay at the same time it was refronted. An extension to the rear marks the original length of the house.

Farmhouse. 18th century and early 19th century refronting. Slate roof. Two storey parapeted façade. Originally four bays, extended west by one bay on refronting. Pilaster strips mark original size. 20th century half glazed central door in panelled reveals. Flat hood over. Windows are sashes, some replaced late 19th century, all with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. West bay ground floor window altered to French window. Gabled roof with four ridge stacks. To rear a full height outshut under catslide roof marks original extent of house. Two 18th century casements survive to ground floor and three to first floor. Additional 20th century casements scattered here and there.
