Full Description
Before 6 September 2005. Casual Find.
A whittle tang iron knife was found at this location. This item is very difficult to date as it is a simple artefact type that has changed little over time. However, it is certainly ancient and most likely to have been made in the medieval or post medieval period.
See description in file.
E. Darch (NLA), 2 June 2006.
