Summary

Metal-detecting in 2006 and 2019 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins, a post-medieval jetton; aswell as a medieval box plate; and a post-medieval furniture plate. A small quantity of medieval and post-medieval pottery was subsequently recovered from the western edge of the field during installation of a water pipeline.

December 2014. Watching Brief. Field 2.
Installation of a 2.9km-long pipeline was monitored. A portion of the pipeline ran along the western edge of this field, designated Field 2.
One sherd of medieval pottery and two sherds of post-medieval pottery were recovered from the topsoil.
