A pair of World War Two bomb craters are visible on aerial photographs within an area of plantation, formerly fen, to the immediate south of Hickling Broad, Potter Heigham (S1). The site is centred on TG 4281 2039. The southern crater is circular and 6.5m across in diameter, the northern crater is larger, 10m across, and more is more sub-circular and irregular in shape. A circular area of upcast material surrounds both craters.
