Summary

A watching brief undertaken in June 2006 revealed three features, either large pits or ditches. Medieval pottery was found in one of these, and other finds, including two lumps of metal working debris and post medieval and modern pottery, were recovered from the topsoil.

Monitoring of excavation of footing trenches for new residential dwelling and detached garage. Contexts 1-8.
Three features, either large pits or ditches, were recorded. One of these contained two sherds of medieval pottery.
Other finds, including two lumps of metal working debris and post medieval and modern pottery, were recovered from the topsoil.
