Map

June 2006. Norfolk NMP
A cropmark of a curvilinear bank or road of possible medieval to post medieval date is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark is centred on TM 3271 9187. A curving negative cropmark extends for 115m on a roughly southwest to northeast alignment for 160m. The cropmark is up to 6m wide and could represent a field boundary bank or the compacted surface of a road. Its southwestern end seems to partly align with a post medieval field boundary. However no boundary or road is shown at this location on the 1812 Ditchingham enclosure map (S2) and it is possibly of medieval to post medieval date.
