Map

June 2006. Norfolk NMP
Earthworks of a possible post medieval floated water meadow are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). These earthworks are centred on TM 3310 9103 and lie immediately to the north of the River Waveney. A series of narrow parallel channels and ridges are visible separated by occasional larger banks. These mainly lie on a roughly southwest to northeast alignment that conforms to the pattern of surrounding drainage ditches. It is likely that these earthworks relate to a floated water meadow of post medieval date. Only the larger banks and the extent of the water meadow have been mapped with the small channels and ridges not shown.
