Map

June 2006. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches, possibly field boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TM 3412 9159. A total of ten sections of linear ditch cropmark are present on a range of different alignments. Although some of the lie parallel and perpendicular to the modern field boundaries, none are marked on the 1812 Ditchingham enclosure map (S2) or later maps. It is likely that these ditches relate to field boundaries and that they are of early post medieval and unknown date.
