Map

August 2005. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with A11 Attleborough Bypass Improvement Scheme.
The stripping of this area exposed three ditches. These drainage features correspond with boundaries that can be seen on the Attleborough tithe map of 1838 (S1) and were probably only removed following the construction of the Attleborough bypass in the 1980s. No finds were recovered at this site.
See report (S2) for further details. The results of the work associated with this project are also summarised in (S3).
