Summary

A 17th century or earlier high quality timber framed house clad in 18th century brick. Above the door is a terracotta plaque of the arms of Buckenham Priory, who owned the land.

High quality timber framed house of 17th century or earlier date, clad in 18th century brickwork.
Above the door is a terracotta plaque of the arms of Buckenham Priory who owned the land. It is identical to the plaque over the priest’s door at Kenninghall church (and therefore making it improbable that the latter is really the arms of Dacre taken from Kenninghall palace as the church guide claims, see discussion under NHER 10827). Not listed.
