Summary

Wells Farmhouse is a long 17th century timber framed range which has been converted into two cottages. The east end of this two storey building was faced in brick during the 18th century, the west end during the 19th century, and the rear section is plastered. There is a steep pantile roof with gabled ends, a central brick chimney stack, and a 19th century central gabled brick two storeyed porch in front of stack.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Long 17th century range, now two cottages. Timber-frame. East end faced in brick in 18th century, the west end in 19th century. Steep pantile roof with gabled ends. Brick chimney stack at centre. Brick string course at floor level. Two storeys. Six windows. Three-light casements with glazing bars."
