Summary

The Maid's Head is a 17th century timber-frame house, formerly a public house, with brickfaced roughcast end walls, and a later pitched and pantiled roof. The building has two storeys with 19th century and modern casements and a brick chimney stack near the east end. There is a modern single storey wing on the southeast and stop chamfered ceiling beams visible inside.
