Full Description
This former school dates to the mid 19th century. It is built from colour-washed brick with slate roofing, and only stands a single storey high. It has a symmetrical facade of five bays with central gabled porch and four three-light casement windows beneath rectangular hood moulds. The porch has a four-centred archway with hood mould. The shallow roof has crow-stepped gables. There is a single central axial chimney stack and one chimney stack on the rear pitch of the north gable-end. This building is included for group value with The Old Hall (10/50) and Church of St Mary the Virgin (10/51).
