Summary

This early 17th century timber framed and thatched house has later alterations. Inside there is an ovolo moulded chamfer with carved stops to ceiling beams as well as a fireplace with chamfered bressumer.

Primrose Farm
An early 17th-century timber-framed house.
This building appears to have originally been listed as "Reeder's Farmhouse" and was later amended to "House Occupied by Miss Lambert." Modern ordnance survey mapping indicates that this house is now known as Primrose Farm.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Early 17th century timber-frame house. Plastered, brick plinth. Steep gable-ended roof, thatched and clad in corrugated iron. Brick chimneystack off centre. Two storeys and attic (attic window in gable end). 19th century and 20th century casements with glazing bars, first floor small. Small ovolo moulded mullion window below eaves."
