Summary

'Lift The Latch' and the adjoining cottage to the south are part of a two storey 17th century timber-frame house which was originally a single building. The building has an attic, a black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and a brick chimney stack off centre. 'Lift the Latch' has a doorway in front of the chimney stack with a moulded architrave, panelled door and rectangular fanlight. There is a later lean-to on the south end and a later outbuilding adjoining the north end.

"17th century timber-frame house divided into two. Plastered black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. Brick chimney stack off centre. Two storeys and attic (attic window in end gables). Late 19th century sashes and early 19th century casements."
