Summary

Lyng Cottages are a pair of early 19th-century cottages with a mid-19th-century rear outshut. These two-torey buildings are of brick with a pantile roof, and each house has one window bay plus a door bay.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Pair of houses. Early 19th century with mid 19th century rear outshut. Brick with pantile roof. Two storeys, each house of one window bay plus door bay. Two central panelled doors with moulded timber cases and small hoods. One ground floor 20th century sash to each house under gauged skewback arches. 19th century sashes above with glazing bars. Dentil eaves cornice and gabled roof. Internal gable-end stack to left on front slope, formerly at ridge before heightening of roof to rear to form large outshut. Left house (No 18) stack on rear slope."
