Summary

Central Stores and the adjoining house to the north date from the 17th century and are timber-framed. Refronted in the mid to late 19th century and re-roofed in 20th century the building has a red brick front and a black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. Central Stores has two storeys and five windows and a projecting late 19th century shop, and the adjoining house has panelled door. There is also a timber-framed rear wall in roughcast, and the interior has some exposed timber-framing, chamfered beams and a massive off centre chimney stack which has been rebuilt at the top.

"17th century. Timber-framed refronted in mid to late 19th century and re-roofed in 20th century. Red brick front. Black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. Two storeys. Five windows, with painted stone heads with keyblocks, sashes without glazing bars."
