Summary

The premises of Smith and Son date to the early to mid 19th century and are constructed of painted brick with a slate hipped roof. The building has small brackets to the eaves and two storeys with four windows. Off centre there is a Doric doorway with fluted pilasters, entablature, and rectangular fanlight with glazing bars and panelled door. To the left is a Victorian shop front with fascia and cornice on end brackets.
