Summary

Nos 60 and 62 Damgate Street are two houses of whitewashed brick dating to the 17th century and later. These two-storey buildings have two central doors and a pantile roof, and a number of 17th- and 18th-century windows survive.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Two houses. 17th century and later. Whitewashed brick. Pantile roof. Two storeys. two central doors, that to right is a plank door serving passage to rear. Second door to right of elevation. House doors are 20th century. Three three-light late 18th-century casements light ground floor, under segmental arches. Platband at first floor level. Four three-light late 17th-century casements to first floor. Saw-toothed eaves cornice. Block pilasters close elevation to right and left. Gabled roof with rebuilt internal gable-end stacks north and south. "
