Summary

Lodge Farmhouse is an early to mid 19th century single storey rendered cottage orné, with a thatched roof with half-hipped ends. This building has a central projecting polygonal bay, and the thatch projects over the side bays and is supported on rustic posts. There is also a central chimney stack with two circular moulded brick shafts, and one later small one storey brick lean-to on the north end. Mid 19th century wing at rear, knapped flint with buff-coloured brick dressings, hipped thatched roof. One storey, three bays, central segmental headed doomrway with ledged door, and flanking elliptical arched windows with casements and four-centred arch tracery in tympanum.
