Summary

A pair of 17th or 18th century brick and timber framed cottages now converted into one house. The house has a steeply pitched thatched roof and 20th century windows.

Map

House, formerly a pair of cottages. 17/18th century, much restored. Brick and timber frame, rendered and colourwashed, with incised ashlar pattern. Steeply-pitched thatched roof. Two storeys and attic, rectangular plan. East wall has one ground floor, one first floor single light 20th century casements. Fenestration generally 20th century, 2 and 3-light casements with glazing bars. Two entrance doors in west wall. Attic casements in gables. South gable has wide 20th century glazed screen with glazed doors with glazing bars. Central axial stack, rebuilt above ridge line.
