Summary

This house was formerly an estate cottage. It dates mainly to the 19th century but incorporates earlier re-used material, and has a possible earlier core. It is built from red brick with a roof of black-glazed and smut pantiling. The main building is two storeys high but there is a one-and-a-half storey range to the west. Interesting features include a gault brick panel with the initials RW set above the doorway and three terracotta panels are visible at first floor level, possibly made from re-used chimney shaft bricks.
