Summary

This threshing barn dates to the early 18th century. It is built from red brick with a reed-thatched roof. The off-centre porch lies on the south side with a weatherboarded gable. The barn has plain brick pilasters and ventilation loops in the gables and side walls. The roof gabling is parapeted, with the roof itself having but-t purlins in two tiers and straight windbracing to the upper purlin. There are double collars to the principal rafters and the tie beams have knees onto the wall posts.
