Summary

This range of four almshouses date to 1831 but were restored in 1975. They are constructed from rendered clay lump on a flint plinth with pantiled roofs. They stand one story high and for a symmetrical facade. There are two arched Gothic windows between the doors with intersecting Y tracery. They have a date stone in the centre reading E. S. 1831 (Edward Stephens). The hipped bell-based roof has two chimneystacks.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Range of four almshouses. Dated 1831, restored 1975. Rendered clay lump on flint plinth with pantiled roof. One storey with symmetrical facade. One arched door at each end and two in centre. Two arched Gothic windows between doors with intersecting 'Y' tracery. Date stone in centre 'E. S. 1831 [Edward Stephens]'. Hipped bell-based roof with two stacks. 20th-century casements at returns and flat topped 20th-century extension to rear."
